Oscar nominated documentary filmmaker Evgeny Afineevsky (Winter on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom) returns to the podcast to talk about his new HBO documentary Cries from Syria. Evegny details how Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad helped fuel radical groups like ISIS to force the Free Syrian Army to fight a war on two fronts and misdirect media attention toward ISIS instead of Assad’s own crimes. He shares evidence that Assad continues to use chemical weapons on his own people and bombs civilian neighborhoods, hospitals and schools in a deliberate campaign of terror. He tells some of the heartbreaking stories of the thousands of children who have become the innocent victims of the Syrian War and he debunks Vladimir Putin’s claim that Russia is helping to fight ISIS in Syria. Plus Evgeny’s thoughts on the murky Trump-Putin relationship.

CRIES FROM SYRIA airs tonight Monday, March 13 at 10PM Eastern on HBO or you can view it whenever you want with a subscription to HBO NOW or HBO GO. For more information, visit www.HBO.com/documentaries. Follow Evgeny Afineevsky on Twitter at @evgeny_director and visit his production company at www.NewGenerationFilmsInc.com.

In one of his first actions as President, Donald Trump signed an Executive Order that put the final death nail in the proposed Trans-Pacific Partnership (T.P.P.) this week.  My guests today will discuss what was in the T.P.P., what the U.S. will be missing out on by backing out of the T.P.P., and why Trump's decision just opened a window for China to become the dominant player in the Pacific Rim.

I'll talk with the outgoing U.S. Trade Ambassador Michael Froman who negotiated the Trans-Pacific Partnership on behalf of the U.S., and then I'll talk with two leading economists who both served as the Chairman of the President's Council of Economic Advisors. Prof. Austan Goolsbee, served as Chairman of the C.E.A. under President Barack Obama, and Prof. Martin Felstein held that position under President Ronald Reagan, but they BOTH agree that free trade is a net win for the U.S. and the demise of the T.P.P. is a terrible loss opportunity for America.

Ben Shapiro is a conservative political commentator, nationally syndicated columnist, author, radio talk show host, and founder/editor-in-chief at The Daily Wire.  Today Ben Shapiro talks about his on-going fight against political correctness on our college campuses, why he cringes every time Donald Trump misuses the cause against political correctness as a "get-out-of-jail-free-card" for Trump's bad behavior, and why Shapiro won't vote for him.  Ben also talks about journalistic integrity and his reasons for leaving Breitbart.com when the news site refused to support his colleague Michelle Fields after she was assaulted by Trump's former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.  Plus, Ben Shapiro gives his tips for how to win a political argument with a liberal.
